The 18th Internet Governance Forum 2023
[OPPORTUNITY TO JAPAN]
Open Development Cambodia and ICT for Development (ICT4D) Cambodia Network will fully fund participants from the Cambodia ICT Camp Alumni and (non)members of the Cambodia ICT and Digital Forum (CamIDF) to attend the 18th Internet Governance Forum 2023 in Kyoto, Japan.
The Internet Governance Forum (IGF), organized under an overarching theme: The Internet We Want – Empowering All People, serves to bring people together from various stakeholder groups as equals in discussions on public policy issues relating to the Internet. While there is no negotiated outcome, the IGF informs and inspires those with policy-making power in the public and private sectors. At their annual meeting, delegates discuss, exchange information, and share good practices with each other. The IGF facilitates a common understanding of how to maximize Internet opportunities and address risks and challenges that arise.
How To Apply:
1. Register to be a CamIDF Member via the link by 31st July 2023, 5:00 PM: https://camidf.net
2. Wait for approval of the Membership
3. Once your Membership is approved, click “Let’s Connect” on the CamIDF’s Website
4. Login with your personal credential
5. Go to “Announcements” and fill in the application form for the 18th Internet Governance Forum
6. Go to “All Topics” and create at least 5 topics related to the Forum’s theme on the Website and actively engage with discussions under your posted topics (Starting from 9th August, 00:00 AM – 17th August, 5:00 PM)
