Greater Cardamom Mountains Sustainable Development Vision Reconciling Conservation and Development

This presentation indicates Cambodia's development and conservation priorities to reconcile the prospects of development trends with natural resource management in the greater Cardamom landscape. There are many identified opportunities for conservation in this area including tourism, hydropower and watershed management. REDD+ scheme also introduced as a tool to solicit overseas development assistance, carbon trading to reduce deforestation and forest degradation in the greater Cardamom mountains for the shake of sustainable development in Cambodia.
