The report is prepared to study the Mining Sector in Cambodia. By 2012, there has been approximately 60 mining companies got the license to explore on the land concession particularly iron ore, gold, bauxite, antimony (sb) & chronomium (cr), cement, gemstone, coal resources, fuel minerals. In Cambodia, there are two main regions, North-East & South-West regions are typically rich of natural resources. The main sources of metamorphic, sedimentary, volcanic, and intrusive rock were found in the two regions. Next, the mining industry such as metallic mineral particularly cement in Kampot, gemstone is mostly found in Pailin, Battambang, Ratanakiri, and Mondulkiri Province. The report enumerated leading companies in the mining sector and supported with figure mineral exploration projects, company names, and concession areas. Latter, discussion in the outlook and opportunity. |

Rong Cheng Industrial Investment (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., is a Single Member Private Limited company which later changed to Private limited company under a resolution on change in company structure. The ministry granted business license, 99 years, to operate industrial investment, factory, handicraft, metal, general trade, construction, transportation and tourism. The registered capital 20,000,000,000 Riel spited into 1,000 shares at 20,000,000 Riel per share. In January 2001, one new shareholder added, Mr. Tian Weimin. And Mr. Yang Shujun, a Chinese, possessed 250 shares; Mr. Tian Weimin, a Chinese, owned 4,750 shares. On a resolution to nominate a new director, Mr. Yang Shujun, was appointed as a board of director, and Mr. Tian Weimin as a director. Currently, Mr. Yang Shunjun, a director, represented the company. |
