The report is prepared to study the Mining Sector in Cambodia. By 2012, there has been approximately 60 mining companies got the license to explore on the land concession particularly iron ore, gold, bauxite, antimony (sb) & chronomium (cr), cement, gemstone, coal resources, fuel minerals. In Cambodia, there are two main regions, North-East & South-West regions are typically rich of natural resources. The main sources of metamorphic, sedimentary, volcanic, and intrusive rock were found in the two regions. Next, the mining industry such as metallic mineral particularly cement in Kampot, gemstone is mostly found in Pailin, Battambang, Ratanakiri, and Mondulkiri Province. The report enumerated leading companies in the mining sector and supported with figure mineral exploration projects, company names, and concession areas.
