Newsletter: Ratanakiri Mining Project
This newsletter demonstrated satellite photo depicting prospect sites in Rattanakiri province. Moreover, the company also claimed with their expertise in exploring mining to low disturbance to people and surrounding environment. Indochine Mining Limited hand observed during field work due to weather condition, and poor technique for exploration resulted local community could do mining only in dry season. Target study was based on a combination of interpretation of satellite and geographical images. These were followed up with stream sediment sampling, soil sampling, rock chip samples and mapping. The works had been carried out in Ou Kampin, Ou Kray, Ou Pang, Ou Lulu, Bor Kham, Poung Peay, and Choime. |
Newsletter: Mining in Cambodia
This newsletter demonstrated its findings with scientific data supported revealing a high prospect sites for gold/copper mining extraction in north-eastern parts of Cambodia. Mining exploration in Cambodia is still limited in term of high technology for exploration. Indochine is one of several foreign companies initiated modern exploration technique around 2005, and a trend of gold occurrences in northern region of Cambodia. The information was recently released and announced resource at Okvau (605,000oz, Oz Minerals March 2010). Moreover, the company had built a large tenement package covering two highly prospective areas within Kraties and Ratanakiri. The area covered approximately 4,300 Km2. Kratie situated in the inner north-east region emerging as a gold district. Furthermore, Ratanakiri is in far north-east region of Cambodia which is similarly sharing common fame of promising gold exploration. To carrying these works some critical works had been supported via building exploration base, purchasing high definition satellite imagery, and the completion of an airborne magnetic and radiometric survey; field work: mapping, geochemical sampling of streams and soils. |
Press Release: Indochine Drilling Intersects Gold Mineralisation in Cambodia
This press release showed feasibility study of prospective sites in Kratie and Rattanakiri provinces with its sample studies and scientific data supporting their claim. Indochine Mining Limited had granted big proportion of gold and copper lease in the Kingdom exceeding 4,000 Km2. The company had intersected gold mineralisation across a wide interval from the first hole of a drilling program at its 100%‐owned Kratie North project, Cambodia. Three sampling had been studied about gold and the company also completed its maiden 16-hole drilling program in total of 2,216 meters of diamond drill core over three main targets at Kratie North. Besides, pyrite and pyrrhotite mineralisation were intersected in the first hole and in five other holes over a lateral distance of 400 meters over the main target, identified by a geophysical (IP) and gold‐in‐soil geochemical anomaly. Importantly, other two targets nearby were also tested with ten drill holes positioned along a geophysical trends associated with gold‐bearing quartz veins at surface. The Indications from drill core were favorable result of drilling program. Indications resulted from re-testing of large stream of sediment sampling promgram in Ratanakiri province, a northern province of Cambodia, would qualified the exploration program over the best gold and copper targets. Even though the region is well-known for world-class gold and copper deposit in Cambodia, the resource remained untouched because of lack of modern equipment and technology to explore and extract those resources. |
Presentation: Feasibility Study of Asian Gold/Copper IPO by Indochine Mining Limited
This presentation showed feasibility study of Mekong sub-regions (Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam) countries, typically Cambodia province of Kratie and Rattanakiri. In addition, the presentation revealed the company expertise on mining exploration and it highlighted high feasible mining extraction in the provinces listed in the presentation. Besides, the company presented the rich-untouched natural resources particularly mines in north-east region of Cambodia. Besides, the largest tenement holder in Cambodia and the sites had never explored by modern equipment and techniques. The initial study work completed included granted title, airborne geophysics, and stream geochemistry, key targets ready for identification and follow-up in Ratanak Kiri & Kratie provinces. Besides, pro-forma capital structure had been revealed with its number of shares & value. They also presented board of management highlighted their major influence on business and nomination of newly appointed CEO, Mr. Stephen Promnitz. |
