The data was collected from many sources by ODC’s mappers such as government, news, company profiles, reports and NGO agency in both pdf and shapefile format. Geographic data is encoded in the WGS 84, Zone 48 North coordinate reference system.

Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy decided to grant a license of a mineral exploration to Oxiana (Cambodia) Limited and D & Z Investment Co. Ltd. The license permits the companies to conduct feasibility studies on metal mines over a land size of 270 square kilometers in O' Anlung area, Koh Nhek district in Mondulkiri province, and Sambor district in Kratie province. A precise information on points, vertical and horizontal coordinates of the exploration area is described in the decision as well. The validity of this license is for 2 years. However, the license will be revoked or the company will be fined if the latter does not comply with the terms and conditions of the agreement. |
