This dataset contains data for mining concessions in Cambodia’s from 1995 to 2014. The data was collected from many sources by ODC’s mappers such as government, news, company profiles, reports and NGO agency in both pdf and shapefile format. Geographic data is encoded in the WGS 84, Zone 48 North coordinate reference system.

Reference documents

Mineral companies in Cambodia by EISEI network	The list of the mineral companies was compiled and updated in June 2012 by EISEI network. All of the information were originally collected from mining provincial departments of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy (MIME), and other sources from the network. The list records the total of 150 companies along with the company's address and nationality as well as geographical location, land size and mineral types of the operation. Nearly all of those companies were granted exploration licenses.
Mineral Exploration Project: Coal	This is the detailed information of names and concession areas of companies conducting coal exploration listed on the website of Ministry of Mines & Energy. ODC's working group screenshot-ed it as referencing information in PDF format on 14 July, 2011.
