Communications and Outreach Interns

Job Summary

With guidance from supervisors, the intern will support ODC’s communications activities by assisting in content creation, social media engagement, event documentation, stakeholder communication, and logistical coordination for outreach activities and events.

Key responsibilities:

• • Support the design of infographics social media graphics, posters, and other communication materials.
  • Assist in video production, including interviewing, filming, and editing.
  • Create and promote environmental and educational content on social media platforms.
  • Capture photos and videos during events, workshops, and activities.
  • Draft and publish blog posts, success stories, and social media content.
  • Support document translation between Khmer and English.
  • Assist in organizing workshops, trainings, consultations, events, and field activities.
  • Assist in communications and volunteer activities for Cambodia ICT Camp 2026 (content creation, event support, coordination, and other assigned tasks).
  • Support project staff in implementing project activities and outreach programs.
  • Draft official communications, including invitations, memos, and partner correspondence.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to increase engagement and visibility of ODC’s content.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• • Nationality – Cambodian
  • Be a university student or fresh graduate in media and communications or related major
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Practical computer skills, including Microsoft Office, internet research, and social media management
  • Good command of Khmer and English
  • Positive, adaptable, and able to work well with diverse people under tight deadlines
  • Commit to self-development and community impact
  • Willingness to respect and work within ODC principles and ODC code of conduct
