Prakas is to establish 09 Community Forestries within 09 locations in Sandan, Kampong Thom Cantonment, with the total area 7,613 hectares. The aim of this establishment is to conserve the biodiversity, manage the traditional use of forest products and non timber forest products for the local community livelihood, tradition and religious believes align with poverty reduction policy of the Royal Government of Cambodia. The total number of community forestry was officially reported at 457, which covered the total areas of 400,167.02 hectares.
