Prakas is to establish 06 Community Forestries within 07 locations in Takeo Division, Kampot Cantonment, with the total area 6,332 hectares. The aim of this establishment is to conserve the biodiversity, manage the traditional use of forest products and non timber forest products for the local community livelihood, tradition and religious believes align with poverty reduction policy of the Royal Government of Cambodia. The publications provide information in details on community forestry and its locations in 21 provinces along with maps. The total number of community forestry was officially reported at 457, which covered the total areas of 400,167.02 hectares.
