The Prakas​ is to establish 13 community forestry areas in Andaung Teuk Forestry Administration Division, Dang Tung Forestry Administration Division and Sre Ambel Forestry Administration Division, of Koh Kong Forestry Administration. The total area is 15,093.41 hectares. The aim of this establishment is to conserve the biodiversity, manage the traditional use of forest products and non timber forest products for the local community livelihood, tradition and religious believes align with poverty reduction policy of the Royal Government of Cambodia. Community Forestry Statistic in Cambodia 2013 was published in June 2013 by Forestry Administration and made available in both English and Khmer versions. The publications provide information in details on community forestry and its locations in 21 provinces along with maps. The total number of community forestry was officially reported at 457, which covered the total areas of 400,167.02 hectares.
