The Prakas is to establish Forestry Community, located in Kralanh, Chikreng, Banteay Srey Forestry Administration, of Siem Reap Forestry Administration. It covers 18,122 hectares. The aim is to conserve biodiversity, manage the traditional use of forest products and non forest products for the local livelihood, tradition and religious believes in accordance with potential and resources of the community forest. Community forestry statistic in Cambodia 2013 was published in June 2013 by Forestry Administration and made available in both English and Khmer versions. The publications provide information in details on community forestry and its locations in 21 provinces along with maps. The total number of community forestry was officially reported at 457, which covered the total areas of 400,167.02 hectares.
