Special economic zone in Cambodia (2006-2024)
This dataset describes the information of special economic zone (SEZ) in Cambodia from 2006 to 2024. The total number of 56 SEZs are recorded in point that data was collected from many sources by ODC’s mappers such as the royal gazette of Cambodia's government, and reports of the governmental ministries in hard and soft copies of pdf format and 34 SEZ represented in polygon from STIMSON. Geographic data is encoded in the WGS 84, Zone 48 North coordinate reference system.

The administrative committee of Dragon King Bavet SEZ was established at Prey Angkunh commune, Bavet district, Svay Rieng province.This administrative structure consists of one representative president from the Cambodian Special Economic Zone committee and five representative members from varies responsible entities, namely the Ministry of Commerce,General Department of Customs and Excise, the Cambodia Import-Export Inspection and Fraud Repression Directorate General (Camcontrol) of the Ministry of Commerce,the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training and the authority of Svay Rieng province. Some of the main responsibilities of such administrative body are: oversee the imports-exports of goods and customary applications, monitor activities of developers and investors in accordance to established laws and regulations and the request for registration of investment and varies certifications, including certification of the origin of goods. |
