Announcement on stopping importing and screening Thai films in all cinemas in the Kingdom of Cambodia

On 13 June 2025, Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts issued an announcement on stopping importing and screening Thai films in all cinemas in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts would like to inform all film distribution companies and cinema owners that from 12 noon on 13 June 2025 onwards, all film distribution companies and cinemas in the Kingdom of Cambodia must stop importing and stop screening Thai films in their cinemas and other locations.
