Outcome of the bilateral meeting between the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand
The bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Hun Manet of Cambodia and Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul of Thailand, held on 28 October 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, focused on cementing the terms of the recent Kuala Lumpur Joint Declaration. Both leaders reaffirmed their steadfast commitment to respect and uphold the Declaration, which serves as the framework for peace, cooperation, and prosperity between the nations. Prime Minister Manet stressed that the full and faithful implementation of the Declaration’s provisions is the immediate and shared responsibility of both parties, emphasizing the need for both sides to strictly adhere to the agreed-upon points with integrity for mutual benefit.
