On 31 March 2026, Ministry of the Royal Palace issued a press release on His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen Mother.

The release stated that His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen Mother are currently in Beijing for medical examination and treatment, and will remain there for further care, while extending New Year wishes to the Cambodian people.
