Open Development Cambodia (ODC) has just released a new briefing page, in both Khmer and English languages, on Cambodian Investment Law which it mainly provides the insight of Cambodia’s legal framework on investment sector. This page features some pieces of data visualizations, including (1) the total cumulative registered investment projects by country of origin to Cambodia 1994-2013, (2) CDC’s approval investment projects from 2009-2012 including numbers of approved projects, investment capital and created employment, (3) CDC’s approval projects in SEZs and (4) Cambodia FDI inflows and outflows from 2008-2013, based on World Investment Report 2014 by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.

Furthermore, it includes the procedures on how to get Qualified Investment Project Approval (QIP) in which providing clear steps on how to apply for it. Some restrictions on investment and the concerns from the government side are also demonstrated.
