Announcement: Progress of the construction and the provision of 5G mobile services in Cambodia

On 12 February 2026, the Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia issued an announcement on the progress of the construction and the provision of 5G mobile services in Cambodia.

Following the official launch of 5G mobile services on January 1, 2026, Smart Axiata Co., Ltd. has deployed 674 5G base stations, Viettel (Cambodia) has deployed 531 5G base stations, and CamGSM Plc. has deployed 289 5G base stations.
