CHRC statement: “Thailand’s indiscriminate attacks against Cambodia constitute the crime of aggression, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and serious human rights violations”
On 24 December 2025, the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC) issued a statement vehemently condemning Thailand’s continued military attacks deploying heavy weaponry, fighter jets, and cluster munitions against populated areas in Cambodian provinces, which have killed 21 civilians, injured 83 others, and displaced over 600,000 people, to urgently call upon the international community and the United Nations to intervene and force Thailand to immediately cease its acts of aggression.
