On 12 October 2021, the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training issued a notification on opening subsidies to 5,415 workers of 74 factories in the garment, footwear and bag industry in the region under the implementation of large-scale closure measures in Phnom Penh, Takhmao, Kandal and municipalities Sihanoukville of Preah Sihanouk Province.
Wing Bank (Cambodia) will send a message about the payment of 160,000 Riels in accordance with the social protection program in cash after the closure measures to the phone number provided to the Ministry through the factory administration.
