On 23 October 2021, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on the outcomes of the 7th Political Consultations Between Cambodia and Viet Nam, via Video Conference, 21 October 2021.

Cambodia and Viet Nam briefed each other on the current situation in their respective country and the governments’ priorities, which primary focused on addressing the Coronavirus pandemic and reviving the economy simultaneously.
