On 20 December 2022, National Election Committee has posted a press release on the bilateral meeting between NEC and Comfrel on their official website. The meeting took place after Comfel requested the NEC to meet further to discuss the report on challenges and recommendations related to the 5th Commune / Sangkat Council Election 2022, which were submitted to the NEC for review.

According to the press, the one-and-a-half-hour bilateral meeting went smoothly with the spirit of intimacy and understanding.
