Press release on the outcome of the meeting between the President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee and the head of the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights for Asia-Pacific in Geneva
On 10 November 2025, the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC) issued a press release on the outcome of the meeting between His Excellency, the President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee, and the Head of the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights for the Asia-Pacific region in Geneva, held at the CHRC office in Phnom Penh. The meeting focused on strengthening future cooperation and projects between the two parties. H.E. Keo Remy, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee, also raised the issues of pushing for the release of the 18 Cambodian soldiers currently detained by the Thai army and advocating for the prohibition of the use of internationally illegal weapons during conflicts and clashes between Cambodia and Thailand.
