On 2 February 2026, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release on the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 6:00 AM on 1 February to 6:00 AM on 2 February 2026 and the position of the Ministry of Interior of the Royal Government of Cambodia.
An additional 2,363 displaced persons returned to their homes. As of now, approximately 550,000 people, equivalent to about 83 percent of the total of more than 640,000 displaced persons, have reintegrated into their communities. Therefore, there are 109,044 displaced persons, including 57,159 women and 35,673 children, remaining in displacement camps.
