On 7 January 2026, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release regarding the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 6:00 AM on 6 January to 6:00 AM on 7 January 2026.

An additional 16,756 displaced persons returned to their homes. Therefore, as of now, approximately 460,000 people have returned to their homes. As a result, out of a total of more than 640,000 displaced persons, 186,760 people remain in displacement camps.
