Press release: The situation following the ceasefire agreement from 6:00 PM on January 3 to 1:00 PM on January 4, 2026

On 4 January 2026, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release regarding the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 6:00 PM on January 3 to 1:00 PM on January 4, 2026.

From 6:00 PM on January 3 to 1:00 PM on January 4, 2026, an additional 12,417 displaced persons returned to their homes. Therefore, out of a total of more than 640,000 displaced persons, 267,674 people, including 141,069 women and 90,670 children, remain in displacement camps.
