Press release: “The Taste of Angkor” cookbooks win “Best of the Best Cambodia” award
The cookbooks, “The Taste of Angkor” and its sequel, “The Taste of Angkor 2,” published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, were honored with the “Best of the Best – Cambodia” Award at the Gourmand Awards Best of the Best 1995-2025 (30 years), held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 27-30 November 2025. The publications are part of the ministry’s economic diplomacy strategy to promote Cambodia’s rich culinary heritage and enhance national prestige. Both editions feature classic Khmer dishes and desserts, accompanied by simplified recipes suitable for global use.
