On 13 June 2025, Ministry of Information issued a press release on the suspension of all Thai films on television.

The Ministry of Information has the honor to inform everyone who own television stations that from 12:00 p.m. on 12 June 2025, all television stations in Cambodia will cease broadcasting all Thai films on their televisions.
