On 23 April 2025, Ministry of Commerce issued an announcement on Cambodia has strictly adhered to international trade rules, obligations, and commitments undertaken upon its accession to the World Trade Organization.
Cambodia has strictly adhered to international trade rules, obligations, and commitments undertaken upon its accession to the World Trade Organization, in which Cambodia prepared and promulgated the Law on Rules of Origin on 5 July 2023. This law aims to promote and facilitate trade benefiting from trade preferences and the implementation of non-preferential rules as well as preventing frauds of origin of goods.
