Announcement on the exemption of the requirement to attach a Cambodian national identity card when applying for a job for Cambodian workers returning from Thailand
On 11 August 2025, the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training issued an announcement on the exemption of the requirement to attach a Cambodian national identity card when applying for a job for Cambodian workers returning from Thailand.
In order to facilitate the employment of Cambodian workers returning from Thailand, the ministry temporarily waives the requirement to attach a Cambodian national identity card when applying for a Cambodian worker’s work book and registration in the National Social Security Fund of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training until further notice.
