Meeting between His Excellency PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Dr. Noeleen Heyzer, Special Envoy of the Secretary General of the United Nations on Myanmar.
On 29 December 2021, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on the meeting between His Excellency PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Dr. Noeleen Heyzer, Special Envoy of the Secretary General of the United Nations on Myanmar. His Excellency Prak Sokhonn and Dr. Noeleen Heyzer agreed that any political process toward ending violence in Myanmar must be Myanmar-led and Myanmar own to be successful.
