On 26 December 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release regarding the diplomatic briefing on the latest developments of the Cambodia-Thailand border situation.
Under Secretary of State NONG Sakal highlighted that His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had reaffirmed Cambodia’s unwavering commitment to the 28 July 2025 ceasefire and the Kuala Lumpur Joint Declaration of 26 October 2025.
