Press release: H.E. Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn to attend the 46th Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie in Kigali, Republic of Rwanda
On 15 November 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC) issued a press release announcing that H.E. PRAK Sokhonn, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will attend the 46th Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie (CMF) in Kigali, Republic of Rwanda, from 19 to 20 November 2025. The theme is the “Contribution of Women in the Francophone Countries.” Cambodia will share information on its preparations for hosting the 20th Francophonie Summit in 2026. On 18 November 2025, he will make an official visit to Rwanda, during which the two sides expect to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen cooperation. He will also hold bilateral meetings with the OIF Secretary General and other foreign counterparts.
