On 29 September 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on a meeting between H.E. Mr. PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.E. Mr. António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations (UNSG). The meeting took place on 26 September 2025, on the sidelines of the General Debate of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA80) in New York, and aimed to strengthen Cambodia’s cooperation with the UN further.
