On 9 August 2025, Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority issued a press release on CMAA denies allegations of new mine-laying and calls for fact-based cooperation under ceasefire.

Cambodia’s position is unequivocal: We have not, and will note, plant new landmines.
