On 15 August 2025, Cambodian Mine Action Authority issued a press release on CMAA’s response to Thailand’s unfounded claims of deploying new mines.

Cambodian Mine Action Authority strongly refutes and dismisses the Thai military spokesperson’s claims that Cambodia planted new mines, which injured Thai soldiers 4 times.
