On 9 June 2025, Ministry of National Defense issued a press release on the latest situation in the situation at the Cambodian-Thai border.

The Ministry of National Defense calls on the public and journalists to use only information from clear sources, especially official information from the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Ministry of National Defense, which are accurate, reliable, and trustworthy sources of information.
