On 28 August 2025, Ministry of Mines and Energy issued a press release on the successful use of mineral funds to support local community development.

Construction minerals play an important role in supplying raw materials such as construction stones, gravel, sand, and laterite for the construction of infrastructure such as roads, electricity, ports, airports, bridges, hydroelectric power plants, irrigation dams, and other structures across the country.
