On 31 March 2026, Ministry of Interior issued a press release regarding the arrest and deportation of a Chinese national to the People’s Republic of China.

The release stated that the individual, Li Xiong, was involved in online scam activities, had his Cambodian nationality revoked, and was deported to China for further legal proceedings.
