On 20 December 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on Russian Ambassador Anatoly Borovik calls on Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn.

Noting the upcoming 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2026, both sides agreed to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation in all fields for mutual benefit.
