On 2 July 2024, the Ministry of Planning issued a press release on the change of national accounting year from 2000-2014 on their official social media site.

According to the press, the Ministry of Planning, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, organized a workshop to announce the outcome of the change in the National Accounting Year from 2000 to 2014.
