On 11 February 2026, the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA) issued a statement reaffirming Cambodia’s commitment to mine ban obligations and clarifying recent mine discoveries along the Cambodia-Thailand border.

CMAA emphasizes that Cambodia does not produce, stockpile, or lay new anti-personnel mines and maintains strict national controls consistent with its international commitments.
