Cambodian PM: Ruling party retains “open door” for talks with opposition over post-poll row

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said his ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) still retained an ” open door” for negotiations with the opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) over a 10-month post-election dispute, the country’s state-run TV reported Saturday. “The CPP continues to open its door for talks with the opposition in order to find a political solution in the spirit of national unity and unification by respecting the principles of democracy and laws,” the National Television of Cambodia reported, quoting the prime minister as telling King Norodom Sihamoni on Friday. …
