China vow to help Cambodia prevent “disturbance from outside”
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi vowed Wednesday, while visiting Cambodia three weeks after a general election that both the ruling and opposition parties claim to have won, to support whatever measures its government takes to ensure stability and offered to help “prevent any disturbance from outside.” Wang, who arrived in Cambodia on Tuesday for a two-day visit, made the remarks in a joint press conference with his Cambodian counterpart Hor Namhong in Phnom Penh.
