More than 1,400 die, but road deaths fall
More than 3,000 traffic accidents across the country during the first 10 months of the year caused more than 1,400 deaths and about 5,300 injuries, a decline from the same period last year. According to a National Police report released yesterday, there were 3,001 traffic accidents in the Kingdom from January to October that killed 1,425 people and injured 5,353, a decline from the first 10 months of 2015 which saw 3,418 accidents, 1,641 deaths and 5,966 injuries. …
