New electricity bill cuts planned to start in April

Starting on April 1, the Electricity Authority of Cambodia (EAC) will continue to bring down the cost of electricity for households and enterprises in Phnom Penh and a number of provinces, according to a recent announcement by the agency. In a statement released earlier this month and signed by EAC’s chairman Ty Norin, the agency announced that it plans to further reduce the price of electricity in the kingdom to meet the goals outlined in the government’s new power supply strategy. …
