SET assistance goes to Cambodia
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) is providing assistance to the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX), a young stock exchange in Asean. Prior to the agreement with Cambodia, the Thai exchange has formed alliances and established collaboration with exchanges in the Greater Mekong Subregion. With its commitment to drive the Thai capital market to be a key sub-region connector, SET has signed MoU to collaborate with stock exchanges in Laos and Vietnam. A memorandum of understanding (MOU) with CSX was signed yesterday to promote development of capital market in Cambodia and Thailand. Among others, the MOU encompasses human resource training, professional training, information sharing and promoting capital market business opportunities between the two exchanges. …
