Inflation rose by 1.8 per cent in January
Inflation in the Kingdom increased by 1.8 per cent in January compared with the same period the year before. Higher costs for food and fuel were the main drivers, official data from the National Institute of Statistics (NIS) show. Khin Song, deputy director general of the NIS, told the Post in February that Cambodia’s inflation is low due to rising local production, the stabilisation of the local currency and the low inflation rates of neighbouring countries. …
