Phnom Penh Court Charge Four Officials Of Land Ministry Over Corruption
The media release from ministry of land management, urbanization and construction on August 10 said: after getting information of irregularity on implementing the social economic land for former armed forces and poor families which published in media on June 14,2012. Ministry set up a committee to monitor the situation of obvious achievement projects. After investigating the cases, Ministry decided to postpone Mr. Pho Vuthy’s position, who works as head of economic and financial department of ministry on June 19, 2012 to pay the ways for the audition committee of the ministry to investigate openly through collaborating with anti-corruption unit to take action in accordance with legal procedures. … These cases have not been for first for anti-corruption unit and stakeholders joining together to take action against perpetrators or criminals. …
