Open Development Cambodia (ODC) published a new dataset on “Religion sites in Cambodia”

Open Development Cambodia (ODC) published a new dataset on “Religion sites in Cambodia”. This dataset contains geospatial information on religious sites across Cambodia, representing multiple faiths including Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, and Christianity. The data were downloaded from OpenStreetMap (OSM). Each record typically includes the site name (where available) and the religion type. The dataset can be used for spatial analysis, cultural and religious studies, urban and regional planning, accessibility assessments, and mapping applications.

As the data are sourced from OpenStreetMap, they are community-contributed and may vary in completeness and accuracy depending on location. Users are encouraged to verify critical information where are missing. ODC has additionally cross-checked the data with Google Maps and added Khmer names and English names where available to improve accuracy and usability.
